Brighter Futures is a mental health user group based in Wrexham, (Wales). It offers users drop in facilities, user representation and input into mental illness planning and provision, access to welfare rights and advocacy services, photocopying, computer and internet access, and point of contact for professionals and volunteers if needed.

Our drop-in and resource centre Belmont Road Partnership House offers a range of therapeutic and leisure activities and is open 7 days a week.

Monthly newsletter. The monthly newsletter is produced by users and includes :stories, details of forthcoming events, a group directory, local contact directory, list of useful phone numbers and websites etc.

Manic Depressive Group The Manic Depressive Group meets monthly, is user led and has guest speakers including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, welfare rights advisors and members of other groups. The group discusses and considers all aspects of living with the condition.

Women's Group The Women's group meets weekly at Belmont Road Partnership House on an informal and social basis for friendship and support. Although issues around sexuality, inequality and discrimination are discussed.
